Guest Igano Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 My ongoing adventure is coming to an end.... http://www.modaco.com/topic/362872-proximity-sensor-not-calibrating/#entry2132244 i send the phone to the company they send it back and to my amazement they fixed the issue and wrote calibration on the service paper. I thought the sensor was pretty much dead but they only calibrated it. Now I want to open the prox_threshold.txt out of curiosity to see if they changed values there. The problem is that rom that I took the phone back for guarantee is not rooted and I don't plan to root it since I have already cwm based recovery and I can just load another rom. I want to check that file but without root I think I can't open it at all. Is there any way? A possible solution is by opening the backup I got via CWM. Can I open that and browse it for the file I am looking for?
Guest Igano Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 OK I made it with unyaffs. Used this one as it includes also the dll and saves you the trouble of looking for an extra app to download. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112906
Guest omegavesko Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 You could've just flashed Superuser via CWM and removed it when you were done. =P
