Guest CoSmEeN Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 I want to thank all of you who work really hard on making the lives of g300 owners better and to wish you all good luck in everything you do. I won't be around here anymore (maybe I will but rarely) because I managed to get a brand new nexus 4 and I'll give my sister my g300. Thanks againg for all your help.

Guest CoSmEeN Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 I'm not even gonna root this phone xD. At least, not now. Maybe after a few months if I see something that I don't like. But it's kinda hard to find something like that at this phone :D.

But it's kinda hard to find something like that at this phone . lol its hard not to when you have fully working official rom's like AOKP, CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, RootBox etc, its the best thing about a nexus for me, you can build rom's from source that will actually fully work without much hassle will be selling my Nexus 4 soon as the new nexus will be announced in October
Guest CoSmEeN Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 I have a fully working 4.3 (at least, that's what I think. Don't make me change my mind :D). For now I am pleased with it as it is and I don't wanna take the risks of rooting, unlocking bootloader, flashing, etc.

For now I am pleased with it as it is and I don't wanna take the risks of rooting, unlocking bootloader, flashing, etc. same here iv'e been running the official 4.3 slim bean, people would be surprised at how low risk and easy it is to do the stuff mentioned above nexus devices have always been aimed at developers so this stuff is made as easy and risk free as possible by Google, to unlock the bootloader is as easy as putting the phone in bootloader mode and entering this in adb from the command line. to unlock: fastboot oem unlock to relock fastboot oem lock or there are tool kits on xda that make it even easer, all you need to know can be found here should you ever change your mind ;) http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=2266654 i can't use the nexus 4 without ParanoidAndroids "contrasty" kernel, its just stock kernel with the colors calibrated but makes the display look amazing compared to the way its shipped, was the only thing i really disliked about the device but now its the thing i like best its like having an super AMOLED display :)
Guest CoSmEeN Posted August 15, 2013 Report Posted August 15, 2013 I'll keep that in mind. But, as I said before I'm pleased with it this way. If I change my mind I will search for you and I will ask you questions >:). Soooo many questions >:)
