Guest Triall) Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 Hi dudes, Yesterday I venture myself and unlock the phone for applications. Everythings goes well. Afterwards I put on the Danich update... Everything seems ok except the backlight. When I go to Powermanagement->backlight->backlight timeout-> there is full list with all options one after the other. I'm affraid that if I touch anything it will screw up. The problem is when I press the action button (when the phone is in stand by regime) it begins to blink. Can someone advise me what to do... may be there is some xml file, where I can find and change the backlight settings or may be there is some other decision. I would like to note that my phone is not on orange network, it is sim free and till that moment I did not experience any trouble with it.
Guest madu Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 i don't see anything there to be afraid of, but if you wanna do it the hard way open RegEdit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Backlight then hit left softkey (values) select BatteryTimeout it is 10000 by default
Guest Triall) Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 May be here I will sound to u very lame, but HOW TO OPEN THE REG EDIT!? I have to add that when I scroll up and down through the menus the SPV blinks. When I stop on certain option it stops. This happen after the update, as I mentioned already... The only good thing I found till now is that the battery life just doubled.
