How'd you install Xposed and GravityBox ? From System R/W ? Does any other module for Xposed work ? ( XThemeEngine or other modules ).

u must use the

su

mount -o remount,rw / system

mount -o remount,rw / data

commands in terminal first

then u update/install xposed framework

thwn install module

activate module and reboot

now it should work

but

with the acer shell enabled not all options work

but disabled Almost 90% of all stuff work

Is the terminal emulator available in rom toolbox good enough? Isn't it easier or better if he reboots in System RW? Please be more specific...

terminal emulator app

thanks, it worked.

one more thing, how to desactivate acer shell?

Ok... So I don't need to reboot în System RW?... I simply start that, input the lines, install, activate modules and reboot? That's all?

What if I get into a bootloop ? I don't have an unlocked bootloader ...

You can just flash an update.zip with the stock firmware. For the acer firmware you don't need unlocked bootloader.

And what was the combination for entering in recovery ? Do I need to enter in stock recovery or TWRP/CWM ( from the tool ? ). I don't know how I enter the stock recovery tough ...

Posted

you can use the tool or stock

to enter stock recovery you need to hold the volume down key while booting when it vibrates you must hold volume up en then you are in recovery ;)

Ok! After I reflash the stock rom do I still have root and busybox? Or I will have to re-install them ?

everytime I install a new module I need to write those lines ? su mount -o remount ?

"su" enter

terminal asks for superuser allow

"mount -o remount,rw / system" enter

now system mounts in rw

Good. Did it. Gbox running, but many features aren't running... Maybe by disabling acer shell... Still, i have no idea how to do that...

You can disable Acer shell by using build prop editor from the play store and changing acer.shell.mode to disabled. (you need system rw for this)

I think i will patiently wait for the xposed module :). I don't want to fail and software brick the device...
