Guest PaulOBrien Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Following on from their acquisition of Quickoffice back in June last year, Google have finally put their own stamp on the application, offering tight Google Drive integration, dropping the purchase price to zero and offering a limited-time offer of 10GB free extra Google Drive space for 2 years! Available now from the Play Store and also available for iOS, Quickoffice allows you to edit Microsoft Office documents, spreadsheets and presentations on your Android phone and tablet. It's also a decent PDF viewer! To grab your free additional drive space, simply sign in to your Google Account from the new Quickoffice app by September 26, 2013. The free space will be added 'in the next few weeks'. [Via: Google Plus] Click here to view the item
Guest george109 Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Wow! I'm going to download that, the only thing that I am worried about is what would happen if I am still using the extra 10GB after it runs out?
Guest AshtonBRSC Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Unbelievable that the app has the menu button of shame on my HTC One.
Guest argh Posted September 19, 2013 Report Posted September 19, 2013 Unbelievable that the app has the menu button of shame on my HTC One. More unbelievable that it can't edit Drive documents, only MS Office documents that have been uploaded to Drive.
Guest mrrog Posted September 20, 2013 Report Posted September 20, 2013 isn't kingsoft office much better than this, free as well, or am I missing something?
