What phone next?

Hey I'm getting my 3UK upgrade start of next month, been looking at a few phones and their specs, they all look good but stuck on which one to get, saying I will be stuck with it for 2 years. They only things off putting are the XZ and HTC One, as they don't have dedicated menu buttons so you get that HORRIBLE black Banner at the bottom which takes up nearly a inch on the screen, so what do you recommended?
