Guest PeterPandroid Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 (edited) I hoped that, by now, all newer Android mobiles would support USB On-The-Go (OTG) but so far my attempts at accessing various devices through a powered USB hub has failed. Is USB OTG not supported on the ZTE Blade V? ZTE's UK support said it was supported in my first call but two further calls later they where unsure what OTG was and suggested I contact the retailer. ... The guy at the Virgin store was fascinated when he saw it working on a Samsung but couldn't get any recognition of my OTG adapter on a couple of Blade V's Edited October 8, 2013 by PeterPandroid
Guest shiftyc Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Replying to a 6 month old thread - can you tell I'm bored? I tried several combinations with no joy. I downloaded the USB OTG "helper" app which couldn't view any devices and I also installed the CM10 OTG modules from here, but with no luck. Looks like it's just not supported by the stock kernel (I'm using v2.2).
Guest djfnz Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Blade V support OTG but external 5 V neccesary! http://i00.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/918/663/858/858663918_998.jpg
Guest shiftyc Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Both the OP and I used an externally powered hub and it didn't work. Are you saying you have it working?
Guest djfnz Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I'm sorry that I did not read it thoroughly.
