Battery Percentage

For those that miss it from custom roms, you can use http://uot.dakra.lt/ to mod a battery percentage display into the status bar.

 

Use the battery mod and customise it how you like.  On the file upload screen you'll need to give it your phones framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk and set the update-binary to 'type EMMC'

 

Do note that the default blue is miles off if you are trying to match the colour of the rest of the rom and the RGB code for ICS/JB blue is actually 33B5E5

Alternatively, I've had great success using the Xposed framework + the GravityBox mod. See here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070.

 

Using that, I've also managed to gain 'reboot to recovery' etc in my power menu.
