Guest RedSlug Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Will the fingerprint scanner get better over time? What's the current problem with it?
Guest 3shirts Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Have you tried the dual recording feature? How well does it work and how do you view the playback? Does it offer some kind of overlaying or just present them as two separate videos.
Guest PaulOBrien Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 Will the fingerprint scanner get better over time? What's the current problem with it?It's just not very good. Probably a 25% hit rate for me even after retraining...P

Guest doncoop Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 First big question Paul. How disappointing is sticking with this slinky back and not going with a faux leather back? is it a deal breaker? :P Secondly, interesting they've added microSD expansion. Will we see this in future devices do you think? I'm interested to know how it feels size wise compared to a Z1 and a nexus4 (just cause that's the device I currently have). I guess price plays a part, but being up against the Note3 and the likely arrival of a nexus 5 very shortly, could you truthfully recommend this as a purchase? Do you think it's 6/9 months too late?
Guest Maringer Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 How easy is it to resist the urge to shout, "I'M ON THE PHONE" when taking calls on this gigantic device? :)
Guest PaulOBrien Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 It's massive compared to both the Z1 and the N4. ;)The One max will be a very very personal choice, so it's hard to say. Also, we don't know pricing yet.P

Guest travisb Posted October 14, 2013 Report Posted October 14, 2013 I'm used to the Note 2 size, but I'd have to handle a one else max before considering it. On paper it just looks too big. I do like that flip cover with inbuilt additional juice. However that just increases the bulk
