Android performance general

Hi everyone,

 

I have a question about general performance of android devices.

 

For some reason, I always have to reboot my phone after a few hours if I want to play a 3d game. Can somebody give me a hint as to what brings down the performance with increasing device uptime?

It's neither RAm nor CPU usage, so something must lead to some kind of congestion or similar. Does anybody know what I am looking for?
