Guest QLF Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 Is anyone able to confirm if the wireless display option works on the hudl? Just found it in settings > display > wireless display, but don't have any devices to test with. Would be great if people could post their experiences with this... What devices it works with etc.
Guest greybot Posted January 24, 2014 Report Posted January 24, 2014 I too would like to know if anyone has had any luck with this and if it's true 1080p display with no vertical black bars on either side. I might go into tescos store and ask them to test it on one of their wireless ready TV's, as the HDMI is useless at the minute.
Guest Justice™ Posted January 25, 2014 Report Posted January 25, 2014 I've tried it and had success, casting from the hudl to an MK808B, worked fine for me and appeared to be in the native resolution of the MK808B (Which was 1080p) without any bars, there seemed to either be latency issues or lag with some things but otherwise its perfectly fine.
Guest QLF Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Excellent news!! Do you have a link to the model / firmware you have? I've had a scan about, and it seems there are variants of the hardware / firmware on offer, so want to make sure I get the right one... Also, does this just work for video? Or can you screen cast the hudl onto your TV? (I'm think for work presentations etc) Thanks!
Guest Frederick_99 Posted January 29, 2014 Report Posted January 29, 2014 Works for me to with Samsung smart TV...what you see on the Hudl you see on the TV :)
