Guest chocobogo Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 What are you going to use to connect to the net AOL offer 0800 unlimited access for £14.99 a month and orange are one of the only networks that offer 0800 numbers free. I was wondering if this could be done!? Is there a fair usage policy that will prevent over use of 0800 numbers? Also are 0800 numbers free on PAYG?? Cheers guys let me know ur thoughts
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 0800 data is not free. How about GPRS? :) P
Guest Matt Whitfield Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 Paul beat me to it. Yeah, try ringing an 0800 number from a mobile and see what happens... Anyway, I think you'll find you're mixing up conventional lanline telephony with GPRS mobile data calls.
Guest chocobogo Posted February 19, 2003 Report Posted February 19, 2003 I spoke to orange and they said all 0800 numbers are free on an orange contract apart from calling card numbers
Guest Rob.P Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 But you can use your contract free minutes for 0800 or 0845 data calls, used to do it with my 6210 as a modem. It was great surfing for free in the evening, granted I only had 50 minutes.
Guest Firaas Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 0845's aren't included in YourPlan free minutes.
