Play films from tablet to Xbox?

Is it possible to play films from a tablet to an Xbox 360?

Try plugging the tablet into a usb port on the 360, ensure the tablet is in usb drive/file transfer mode and put your films in the root of the sd card then navigate to em in whatever player you have on the 360. I think the films need to be AVI, MP4 or WMI format to work.
