Guest TescoHudl Posted December 3, 2013 Report Posted December 3, 2013 Anyone here know how to remove the Tabbiedroid V1.5 ROM, and flash the stock ROM back onto the device. I want to do this because i am getting the charging issue, where the Hudl gets stuck on the boot logo and requires a reset. Once i hae flashed the stock ROM, the plan is to root again using the Chinese method. I tried flashing the stock ROM back onto the device in RKTools, but once flashed, the Hudl asks me to update to version 1.3. I have no option but to do it. When click update, it takes me to a Android screen which says 'Error!'. I cannot boot the ROM at all. Has anyone experienced the same problem, and know how to fix it? I need to get the stock ROM back onto my device, but it seems impossible at the moment. :( Cheers :)
Guest Posted December 3, 2013 Report Posted December 3, 2013 (edited) Well if you look again at Paul's pinned thread on the stock Rom you'll find my post near the end of that thread with the stock v1.3 image. Suggest using that instead - sorted........ Edited December 3, 2013 by Guest

Now i will be able to flash the stock ROM and re-root, eliminating the annoying charging issue! :)
Guest TescoHudl Posted December 3, 2013 Report Posted December 3, 2013 Quick question. Can anyone remember how to remove the boot sound? Since flashing this new ROM, the deeply irritating startup sound has come back again! I've had a look around on the Modaco forums but... i can't find how to do it. Someone please help, i can't stand that noise every time i switch it on!!
