Guest linspinho Posted December 4, 2013 Report Posted December 4, 2013 I have a problem sending files from linux pc to Android phone through bluetooth. I have search a lot and find some answers. One says that google prevents android of receiving files from pc or others android phone, because they are worried about of people exchanging app. I dont know if that is true, I know that i'm not able to tranfer file from my linux mageia 3 to my rooted moto G and the one I had before, but I am able to send file from phone to mageia 3. If this is true, is there a way to make this connection always enabled?
Guest tomtruckie Posted December 4, 2013 Report Posted December 4, 2013 Es file explorer can do it through your WiFi or Bluetooth. I use WiFi and it works very well. I haven't tried it with BT.
Guest linspinho Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 tomtruckie, thanks i'll try it!
Guest maniac_mouse Posted December 9, 2013 Report Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) If your trying to send an apk, changing the file extension usually works, i.e. myapp.apk-->myapp.txt. Just change it back again after the transfer. Zipping/Raring the file also works (or it did last time i tried). Edited December 9, 2013 by maniac_mouse
