Video playback Nexus 5

Hello,

I have a strange issue regarding video playback from some apps that has just arose in my Nexus 5. It's not rooted btw. Using some apps e.g. Film on TV and Sky Go, there is no video playback but only audio. In other words the screen is blank but audio is working. It's strange as this issue only arose in the last few days. Other video streaming sites like YouTube work fine. Any ideas what could be causing this?
