Guest vickdu31 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Hi, i realised that the sound quality with headphones isn't that great than with my previous phone (Moto Atrix) but i guess this is just software related. I would like to know if it's possible to use the CM's DSP Manager on the official ROM of my Moto g. Thank's :)
Guest jlost Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 (edited) I manually installed this DSP Manager. Scroll down thread for newest version. No errors, but I've not tested it properly. May only work with Google Play Music. Copy the files* to correct folders and SET PERMISSIONS! ( rw- r-- r--) Restart your device. Make sure that DSPManager is selected in Settings / Sound / Sound Effects. A 2nd reboot may be needed as well for the changes to take place. * Ignore the META-INFO folder in the zip. Guest vickdu31 Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 Ok so we need a custom recovery and root ? Do we loose warranty when unlocking bootloader ? On my Atrix, when i called motorola they said there's not problem about that... I think i'll wait for the oficial kitkat and then start unlock bootloader and CM11 :) (dsp will be included i hope )
