can i change from super SU to superuser once rooted

Hi all, I have rooted my phone using the superboot option, but want to change to superuser, I have the superuser.zip from koush website and was wondering whether I could just flash it in recovery, or do I need to select the unroot option in the super su app first?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

There is an option in settings, under Clean Up, to switch superuser app.....not sure what it does, but apparently it prepares your system for install of a different Superuser app.....why do you need to change??

When I reboot from CWM it asks me to fix root as it may be broken. I have clicked to fix and ignore but still get the message on every reboot from recovery.
