Leaving Community

Hello. I've just got a Galaxy S4, so I am getting rid of my G300.

I thought that I would also make this new post to mention a few people that I would like to thank

Firstly, Kyan31 - Some of your posts and responses were quite witty, and made me smile and even laugh sometimes, so thank you! Also, your ROMS were quite good too :) - Your Lightning ROM was the first ROM that I changed to - Of course I was a noob and didn't bother doing any wipes so it never worked properly! 

Secondly, Dazzozo - For Building the CyanogenMod ROMs that were amazing and were so much better than the stock ROMs, and working tirelessly to get them working well. Also for always being on the IRC ;)

Thirdly Tillaz - For making AtmoicMod - the ROM that I had used for the longest on my G300 - it just worked.

Forth Dalyer - For often helping out other users on my tutorials (especially the bootloader) when I didn't have time :)

Fifth Paul O'Brien (Sorry if your name is spelt wrong!) - For actually making a centralised community that all G300 users can actually use.

6th - Any other devs that have worked on the G300, and for making it a lot better

7th - Everyone else in the community for making it a good one. I have had quite a good time here :)

 

Of course I will still be here to help out, but not as much :(

PS Also now I have my S4 I cannot see how I managed with my G300 sometimes without throwing it at a wall!! :P

I totally agree with your words. Since I've had my xiaomi red rice , 4.7"screen ive wondered how on earth I put up with my g300 for so long, but it was down to the excellent work of the devs and great support from people on here.

Feels a bit like the end of an era  :( but it has been good fun and very informative.

I'm also gone (with my Haier W910 - which is going grand so far) but still here a bit  :) given that my gf now has the G300 (running CM7) so I'm not totally out of the G300 loop yet...

She hasn't complained (too much!) about it so far...

If I was too blunt with anybody when posting then I apologise - I was just trying to help.... :D

George, its sad to see you go, you were and still will be a big part of the community, but i'm happy you have a nice new device to go on with - Lucky you  :D  :P

Thank you - I must admit though, I am jealous of your new PC! (I have to live with a dell laptop thats 4 years old!!), Anyway of course we will talk again, as I will still be here ;)

You were very useful round here, often helping out on my tutorials and other things, when I wasn't around to, so thank you too :)

Also as well, sometimes I think everyone has to be blunt round here sometimes! :P

I know! I don't know how I managed to live without a good camera and NFC for so long!!
