Guest sebset Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Interesting... According to: http://www.digitimes.com/NewsShow/Article....ages=PR&seq=210 HTC launched the world’s first Windows-powered smartphone last quarter. Mitac will showcase a smartphone by the end of this quarter. According to Intel’s press release, Mitac’s Mio 8380, featuring a clamshell design, will be powered by the Intel PXA262 processor, which stacks 32MB of flash memory and a 200MHz Intel XScale technology processor in a single package. and according to Orange: "We now have two phones in the SPV family, with more to follow. In the future, we are looking to extend the experience even further, to include clam-shell handsets, built-in cameras, bluetooth capabilities and so much more." Mitac Mio 8380 will be the 3rd Orange Smartphone?
