gemini 1000 10.1" tablet

hi there,

             got my grandaughter a gemini 1000 10.1"tablet for christmas,however,she trod on it and broke the screen,i've e-mailed gemini but got no reply yet!does anyone know if and where i can get a screen/digitizer for it? thanks in anticipation of assistance

Your best bet I think would be to open it up, find the make and model of the screen (that looks broken from the picture, digitizer "might" be okay) and search for that on eBay. I found that easier when replacing the one in my NetBook earlier last year.

The best thing would be to drop Gemini an email about this on [email protected] or call the repair centre directly on 0844 770 6936. The usual support guys cannot handle out of warranty or physical damage issues like this.

See how much Gemini can replace this for then have a look around online as well. If you get Gemini to replace it then you'll still have a warranty but fixing it yourself will void your warranty.
