G300 become very sluggish and unstable

I've only had this particular phone for half a year and it's already slowed to a halt. It is immensely sluggish to use, I often find myself pulling out my Tablet and using it instead, though this requires turning on the WiFi Hotspot which doesn't work well either.

I'm not sure what's causing it, I'm using what I think is the latest android build for this phone. It's ALSO running out of space constantly and I'm not sure what to do.

Anyone else found this happening? especially with the wifi hotspot not working correctly.

What ROM are you running?

Any improvement if you clear the cache?

What does Manage Apps say about storage and RAM use?

Do you have a lot of apps installed?

If you were amenable to trying a custom ROM then I would suggest one of the GB based ones (CM7 in particular but also superslim, slim or AtomicMod).

I think that GB is better suited to this hardware overall.

Others have had better experiences with other stock and custom ICS or custom JB/KK ROMs than me though.
