Guest plewis1981 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Hi all, I upgraded my phone to the us 4.4 stock ROM following the guide in this forum, and flashed the 4.3 bootloader so I could flash CWM, but now that CWM is compatible with the 4.4 bootloader, I would like to re flash the 4.4 bootloader. As I used the guide hear on modaco to upgrade to 4.4 and downgrade the boot loader, I was wondering if I would be able to swap the .img files from the bootloader downgrade package, with the ones from the ROM I origionaly used to upgrade to 4.4 in the first place, and if i am right in thinking I could then run the .bat file as instructed in the upgrade guide. As an upgrade apposed to a downgrade. Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Guest h@mster81 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 I just did that and flashed CWM 6.0.46. All went well.
Guest SuperAndy Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 Whats the difference between boot.img and motoboot.img there both in 4.4 zip
Guest plewis1981 Posted January 21, 2014 Report Posted January 21, 2014 I'm not too sure but the downgrade file only contains one .IMG file, so this one must contain the bootloader, so if you replace it with the one from the stock 4.4 ROM, you just have to run the .bat file again in bootloader mode, and then re-flash recovery if you wish, that's what I did and I've had no problems.
