OTG Experience on Motorola Moto G

So, what is your experience with Motorola Moto G?

 

On KitKat, the only thing I managed to use is a mouse and a keyboard. Instead, with every single usb memory I get stuck.

 

Any advices on this directions?

I think Motorola removed this functionality on our version of 4.4. You can use an app (name's somewhere in this forum), and it will work.

Is that true that rooting the phone would enable back the OTG functionality for usb drives?

Rooted users can use StickMount, and non rooted Total Commander + USB Stick plugin

 

I have tested both, i'm rooted, so i use StickMount, is much better i think
