SPV to Palm 515 via IRCOMM

Hello Board

I'm trying to connect to the internet from a Palm 515 via my SPV modem but have had no joy. Its not so much the settings (as far as I can

see they are are correct on both :? ) but that under these conditions the palm cannot 'speak' to the SPV. The SPV has its IR receive on, the modem link is active, the palm tries to connect but says that my phone may need a new driver.

I also cannot get the Palm to 'beam' to the SPV .....they wont speak to each other. But the SPV will beam to the Palm OK.

Has anybody any advice please? Must be doing something wrong methinks.

It looks like there's a fault with IR receive on some SPVs. See:

there are also other threads on the same issue. Try doing a search for "infra* receive" and select all terms.
