Guest tillaz Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Thanks for your reply. Looking inside my Blur_Version.14.71.8.falcon_umts.TescoSL.en.GB.zip file i dont see any of the files above that's an OTA package not factory image, don't think you can reflash that factory images can be found here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14 im still waiting for uk retail to be added
Guest msuk Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 that's an OTA package not factory image, don't think you can reflash that factory images can be found here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14 im still waiting for uk retail to be added Ah ok I understand. The guys over XDA forum are collecting these. I thought it could be flashed quite easily.
Guest tillaz Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 Ah ok I understand. The guys over XDA forum are collecting these. I thought it could be flashed quite easily. not if you are already running it, as it will not see the package as an updated version
Guest msuk Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 not if you are already running it, as it will not see the package as an updated version so the only option is to wait for the Tesco UK to appear here - http://sbf.droid-dev...e.php?device=14 and then use you .bat script from above?
Guest tillaz Posted January 27, 2014 Report Posted January 27, 2014 so the only option is to wait for the Tesco UK to appear here - http://sbf.droid-dev...e.php?device=14 and then use you .bat script from above? as far as i know yes, unless you just flash a repacked .zip rom with a custom recovery, i am going to upload my repack of the GPE version soon that might help not sure if a Tesco one exists. or you could flash the 4.3 tesco factory image from above then you would be to do the 4.4 update again.
Guest msuk Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Saw this over at XDA - This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings. 1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release. 2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS 3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited [too] long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again. 4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress (logo with Exclamation mark) 5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again. 6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE) 7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to select this option 8. The device will then perform the partition wipe 9. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence When I get to step 7 i can see an option "apply update from SD card" - could I use to to flash the OTA file Blur_Version.14.71.8.falcon_umts.TescoSL.en.GB.zip? Thanks
