Guest Terry Hamley Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 What is the quickest and easiest way to put CD tracks onto my SD memory card so I can listen to music while I'm on the train!?
Guest capt_janeway Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Probably with a card reader or via explorer? But I am no expert!! SO wait until they tell you!
Guest vadonald Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Rip the tracks you want on a PC using Media Player (Microsoft) or another MP3 / WMA encoder. WMA in general are smaller than MP3 for a given sound quality, so you get more music on your disc - most of my music is WMA at 64k. Copy ripped tracks onto SD card, use activesync to copy onto phone. If you have a SD / MMC card reader then use that as it is far quicker than using activesync. Enjoy your music - simple really! P.S. As capt_janeway has said, you use Explorer to do the copy, but you must have activesync running for your phone to appear in explorer. Vince :)
Guest yatpeak Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 I sometimes find that the tracks won't play if I just copy them onto the SD, if this happens, try transfer to mobile device on WMP, and choose the card to copy to. Wyatt
