Guest cevkintas81 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 thanks man great rom. Keep up the excellent work.
Guest Ntropy Posted July 9, 2014 Report Posted July 9, 2014 Hello, I wanted to know if among the "Build.prop" tweaks, you have added the option to connect to PC as "USB Storage" (useful for Windows XP PCs) I'm going to install it anyway, I currently use the previous version and I'm happy with it, thanks for your work!

Sorry I have not, superdragonpt had it enabled on the kernel but I wouldn't know where to start with that. One solution is to use one of the many wireless transfer apps like AirDroid. Cheers Edited July 9, 2014 by Minimonkey

Guest Ntropy Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 I have found problems with the fonts, VLC can't show subtitles, and with my last ROM (minimonkey_v1.zip) there was no problem at all; it seems that there are default android fonts not present in huddsdroid 2.0, I copied the font folder from the "minimonkey_v1.zip" to the \system\font folder of my tablet, and the problem is fixed. Is there any reason for the font removal? I'm interested in customize my own ROM, could you offer some insight in which tools do you use and from whar ROM do you start?

Not sure why they have been removed but I will add them back in. I used Cygwin to build the ROM which you can find all the info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690 (Added back into latest download) Edited July 14, 2014 by Minimonkey
Guest iulian1421 Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Hi, First of all, great rom. There aren't that many for this tablet. I have a problem with the gps, it doesn't find anything even after 10 minutes of searching. It was working fine with the v1 of huddsdroid. Settings > Location access Access to my location is ticked Wi-Fi & mobile network location is ticked Gps satellites is turned on Also, within the gps satellites menu, AGPS and EPO are ticked. (but doesn't want to download the EPO configuration file) Do you also experience this issue? Edited July 15, 2014 by iulian1421

Guest rootnik Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 Created an account just to thank you for this rom. I have not fully tested it yet but it was the only way for me to get the latest updates. I tried returning %100 to stock and waited 2 whole weeks for the OTA update, finally I gave up and installed this. Again, thank you!

Guest doland Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 Love HD 2.1 is it necessary to update to 2.2 to change the different stock rom? if I do that, do I have to end up wiping the device again?

Its a small update so not necessary, it will wipe the device again so if you do make sure you backup anything you need to first. You could use either CWM/Titanium backup, play store should restore apps if you have told it to.
