Guest meaks Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 1. Click search at the top of the screen. 2. Enter Keywords to search for 3. Press Enter 4. Hey presto it finds the answers to all your questions! :) you never know - it might work?
Guest madu Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Oh wow!! We've been waiting for this guide for a while now!! Thanks! :) PS: 'Search for all terms' sometimes helps too!
Guest meaks Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 lol I reckon it's definately worth a sticky
Guest capt_janeway Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Play nicely you two.... To be fair though some of us Newbies don't really know what to search for....and afterall isn't that what the Beginners section is all about?
Guest Bazz Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Yup. I'm nice to Beginners. Those that post in the Main section get my full wrath!! Grrrrrrrrrrr..............
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 Even us longer serving members still have problems searching for topics. The best advice I can give is to use only one keyword at a time and also to try variations of that word, i.e. Danish, DK etc relating to the update.
Guest Firaas Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 There's a skill to seaching, the same with Google. It's fair enough people posting stuff in the Beginners section if they're not good at searching - but when people post topics in the Main forum that can be brought up with just one keyword, it gets extremely frustrating...
