Guest lllnorrislll Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 I have a broken zte blade v, that I managed to snap a pin to the sim card through my own stupidity. Before I binned the phone, I have been having a little play and used clockwork to install a V956 MIUI rom off a Chinese language sight - google translate was surprisingly good. It boots up and appears to work. Except when I left and returned 10 mins later, I couldn't get the screen to re-light. Got me wondering if there is any use exploring this route for a custom rom?

I think you need to set the resolutions! 480x854 -> 480x800 I think this is a Base rom -> http://www.romjd.com/Rom/Detail/25907 Edited March 21, 2014 by djfnz
Guest djfnz Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 (edited) This is working! But the resolution is not perfect.. I tryed to port but the screen resoluton "RE-SIZE to 480x800" its terrible! What not working (I experienced currently)-> - USB storage mode - Wifi - Screen sleep/wake - orientation sensor (working but not corretly) - screen resolution .... Base rom: MIUI ZTE N909 Experimental rom: http://www.mediafire.com/download/a1lwlxylsm5d511/miui_blade-v_debug_4.3.14_Jelly4.1.zip Edited March 22, 2014 by djfnz
Guest vaggos_vankel Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 Tested. Wifi worked for me but screen sleep/wake not working. USB storage also. The quality of camera was very good!(better than in a official rom).
Guest djfnz Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 The big question how can edit the resolution? 480x854 to 480x800.
