Guest woody Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 How about an index somewhere to help new users out a little. All the abreviations and trade names can be a little confusing. Maybe even a page with all posted links and thier uses,i,m sure this would help new and old users alike

Guest Big Ron - No Longer a Mem Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 If you DO, then you can bet that - although Orange won't commend Modaco to suctomers, the smarter 156 techies will add the URL of your reference to their IE "favourites" and will reach for it FIRST. (Note that that's already happening. In fact it's HOW I found out about Modaco; in my early days, right out of training, I sat and watched an experienced 156'er field a call about the SPV. He came right here, did a quick search, and came up with a solution. The query, as I recall, was about the "Speakerphone". He was smart enough to know that the "official" information was incorrect, and simply gave instructions on how to turn the earpiece volume up slightly.
Guest pete1312 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 ... I sat and watched an experienced 156'er field a call about the SPV. He was smart enough to know that the "official" information was incorrect, and simply gave instructions on how to turn the earpiece volume up slightly. Then it appears he didn't search deep enough! The correct answer would have been to press the green "telephone" key whilst on a call!
