Guest imrahx Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 I installed the official ICS rom but mobile coverage started to "leave" and to "come". So I tried installing other ROMS like 4.2 and 4.4, but the problem persists. What is the error? I'm complety lost... How could I fix it? Thanks in advance.
Guest dalyer Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Do you mean you did a force update using the stock B952 update.app? What is your location? In Settings > About phone > Status what is your IMEI SV?
Guest imrahx Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Mmm I don't remember exactly, but it could be that I did that force update. I'm in Spain. IMEI SV is 50. Thanks!
Guest dalyer Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 If you don't know then perhaps try a force update of stock ICS B952 first? http://www.modaco.com/topic/362821-tutorial-how-to-officially-unlock-the-bootloader-with-definitions-relock-guide-included/#entry2128104
Guest imrahx Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Okey man, I follow that post and updates failed and now the phone doesn't boot............... edit: I restored Cyanogemod and now it boots, we'll see ... Edited May 12, 2014 by imrahx
Guest imrahx Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) I'm in serious trouble now... Now the phone has the official bootloader, and I have in the SD card the dload carpet with the update.app and when I try tyo update, it fails. Moreover, I can't boot. I don't know what to do. I'm transformating my phone in a paperweight Edited May 12, 2014 by imrahx
Guest dalyer Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 I thought it booted after you restored CM? Did you subsequently try to force update B952? Did you follow the instructions in the link that I posted? What happens when it fails - e.g. pink (?) progress bar gets so far then stops or something? Once you install B952 update.app you will be back to stock - including stock bootloader etc. You will then have to root, unlock the bootloader, install CWM etc. If the B952 update.app will not install for you then you may need a "middle package" to get it to work. Google "Modaco G300 middle package" to find links about this on this forum. Almost certainly you have not permanently bricked the phone and there will be some way back - just a question of finding it! Hopefully somebody else with more ideas will be able to help also...
Guest imrahx Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) I followed that instructions and all went wrong went I did the "Now wait until it reboots and then flash the relock bootloader zip by jsevi83. Then you can carry on with the tutorial, by following the next post." part. Now the phone doesn't boot, and I only can enter to the Android system recovery. The middle package update also fails. Guest dalyer Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Unfortunately I don't know so. Those instructions should allow you to force update B952 if you follow them to the letter and make sure that the two part zip downloads and extracts (the /dload/update.app) OK. Maybe somebody else can advise...?
Guest imrahx Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Good new (I think) I could install CWM recovery and could restore a backup that I had. Now I am at the first part of this post.
