Guest FlangeArtist Posted February 20, 2003 Report Posted February 20, 2003 When my phone is in the cradle, it KEEP's on switching to the calendar (day). Extremely anoying! Any reason for this? Or is there something I can do to stop this?
Guest pete1312 Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Maybe something to do with Dockware! Do you have that program?
Guest Rob.P Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I think this is a possible bug as mine keeps doing it as well. Your right it is damn annoying, I think it has something to do with Activesync, I know it will always happen when I have a conflict on the calendar when sync'ing. It does go through phases though, it hasn't done it for awhile, but I expect it to do it soon. Nothing to do with dockware has I don't have that installed. It used to be quite bad but has got better, not sure what I did to make it slightly better either, could have been something I installed. (Phone has been de-cert'd)
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I brought this up a week or so ago. It seems its a common problem (i suffer from it too), and very intermittant. It was happening all the time, in and out of the cradle last week, but its been fine for hte past couple of days... "go figure"
Guest Rob.P Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I wonder if our phones do it at the same time? Stranger things have happened.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Ditto, mine does it sometimes too... P
Guest mike-oh Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Same here, except mine does it when pluggin/unpluggin the headset, usually when locked! PS: Happy birthday to me! PPS: What has the spv CPU and George Bush got in common? Both from texas, both power hungry, both unstable under pressure, both a bit slow and both should've been tested better before being released to the public! (i could probably think of more but i can't be bothered!)
Guest Rob.P Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Does this mean then that our SPV's will declare a war on Nokia phones claiming they are part of a GPRS of evil. This is bad, SPV's will be dropping SMS's on Nokia phones to batter them into submission. :) Hastily getting back to the subject this thread is about though, yeah mine too does it mostly when the keypad is locked.
Guest mike-oh Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 :) god only knows? You've maybe hit on something there! So does anyone know if this is fixed in the UK update, or has anyone noticed the same problem still existing with the DK update?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I think awarner said he still gets the problem post update.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I still get it on my Tanager, which is REALLY new software! :) P
Guest Rob.P Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Do you remember reading this prob in the Bug section Paul? If not that could be why it wasn't included in the update, just a suposition like.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 Don't think it's in BugTrack? You reckon they based the update on that then? P
