Problem boot

Hello everybody,

I would like to upgrade my acer S500 (official 4.1.2) on Midnight-Rom (http://www.modaco.com/topic/371346-rom-midnight-rom-v1-stock-based2014-03-30/).

I have used Acer Tool S500 RO 0.4 (http://www.modaco.com/topic/371346-rom-midnight-rom-v1-stock-based2014-03-30/) .

When I boot my mobile phone , I got this error :

boot image verified failed

Do you have a solution ?

(It is strange than with option 5 , I could use my rom but it ends when I reboot)

(I succeed to root my S500 but unlocked the bootloader , I don't know.

Could you give me the files for that ?

Yes. It worked. What should I do to do the reverse (make the bootloader locked to send back my acer to the warranty ) ?

What about the recovery ? Which one is the best : CWM  or TRWP?

You're welcome! And for the warranty part i read some comments on this forum of people that sent their phone for repair with custom rom and recovery and acer just repaired it. So i don't think that's a big problem. I also saw a comment of Razvankim who said it isn't possible to relock the bootloader.

@jy95, do you have another username, or name, because(for me) that username sounds suspicious.

2. If you have tampared device, it's imposibile tu flash boot.img via tool/fastboot. There are two other method.

-Via some flash kernel app from playstore.

-second(I use this method):  creating an archive, and install it using CWM/TWRP.

@jy95: https://mega.co.nz/#!AYNywLYC!ncDA9pbgIFc4XLNB8Mp1LanXrz-w4wa3sp7RJ_GG0z8 download it and place boot.img , Then, flash via cwm/twrp. That's all.

You can send your phone with locked bootloader on warranty. But make sure you install STOCK ROM .
