Network snooping?

I'm nosy. ;-)

I want to know what my devices are sending over the network so I usually use Wireshark (formerly Ethereal).

What's odd is that I can't get my Hudl (the only android dev I have right now) to connect to a shared wireless network; I've tried on a Mac and a Linux box and neither one gives any suggestion that it's working. The iPhone can see the sharing network - but the 'droid doesn't.

Anyone else tried this?
