Guest derei Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) I just bought an EE Kestrel and I rooted it using https://towelroot.com/ . It seems to be rooted, I have Super Su on it, it grants superuser access to my apps like Root Uninstaller and AntTek Explorer, but I cannot remove system apps. I tried to remove Twitter, Deezer and others, but it says "Can not uninstall app. An unknown error occured". But I can freeze them. Please help me with this issue. Thank you. UPDATE "Normal" system apps can be uninstalled, but the problem is with the apps placed there by EE provider. They seem to be in a different place and cannot be removed. Using Anttek I found them in /cust/orange/ee , but I have no idea how to get rid of this ones. Edited September 23, 2014 by derei
Guest derei Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Nobody? Maybe I should use a different rooting method? If so, which one? I'm really frustrated at this moment. Thanks.
Guest derei Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 I updated my first post. Maybe now, a solution can be found. Thank you
