Guest vaughtex Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 Hi there, this is my first post I'm looking at getting a tablet, the Hudl 2 caught my eye mainly because of price. I've also never owned an Android device (previously iPads, but sick of their cost and consistent problems). I tried a Hudl out today and liked it, feels great considering the price. However, I wondered if it is possible to remove the Tesco Bloatware and the "T" button, which gets in the way constantly. I'm a complete android novice and use a mac as my primary computer. Is this possible? If so, is there a guide to remove this? I of course have done some digging before adding this post, but can't find a comprehensive guide on how i'd go about doing it - hope some people can help me out.
Guest Posted October 12, 2014 Report Posted October 12, 2014 Currently the easiest way to remove the 'left' dedicated Tesco homescreen and [T] in the Google search bar is to install an alternative launcher, Apex Launcher for example. There will be other methods in time, including rooting the device, but for now it's an easy fix.
