I think there are no stable and fast 4.X ROM for g300. Maybe you can try CM10, MeijaICS or Infusion b952 by tillaz, but i recommend you to use GB ROM (CM7 or GBXTREME).

I think cm9 is fast and stable enough. At least I ended up with this rom on my g300.

Well CM11 it's a very good ROM and can be considered more or less nearly stable, it has advantages like more compatibility with new applications or codecs and disadvantages like Wifi tethering, Voip problems, applications that do not work at all like feedly or Amazing thief (They do work in stock ROM), or the handsfree speaker volume problems,

 

In any case G300 development has slowed down because of the age of the phone, so we can consider lucky to have a CM11 Rom.
