Hello,

Recently i soft bricked my g300, but in order to recover it in need hex or bin eMMC image from a working g300. If anyone would be kind to create one I would really appreciate it.

What do you mean by eMMC image?

Is this the image of a particular partition or something?

How to extract it? dd or something?

Does it have to be from a specific ROM?

My gf has my old G300 running GBXTREME.

Would extracting that be of any use?

Would it contain any personal data...?

Should work. Actualy i was running GBXTREME before i bricked it. About personal data i can't say, because never tried it.

I'll see if I can do something tomorrow but can't guarantee anything...

Sorry - I had a quick look but know nothing about QPST, don't have time to read up on it and can't see any obvious way to extract what you need.

If somebody can give me simple instructions for doing this I can try....

Just to clarify - I follow those guides to extract what's required here?

Does G300 have this FTM boot mode?

Is the QCN file the file that's needed here?

I don't have the G300 to hand to just try so want to know what to do once I do get my hands on it and have a chance to look at this.

Qcn is the file that is required, its like a recovery file. G300 doesn't have but bootloader mode or power and +/- volume should do the trick.

Thanks JJJarek. I'll see if I can try extracting this QCN file later today.

Sorry haven't had a chance to try this and won't have access to the G300 for a while...

I tried to get the QCN file but QPST never detects my phone as qualcomm USB device. I tried with Power and -, Power with + and -...

I couldn't manage to put my G300 in FTN mode. any hint?

No luck.

Power and - Phone stuck in Huawei logo

Power and + CWM recovery

Power and + - Pink screen

When I connect to the USB, Phone is recognized but no com port appears

Edit: Just read that with CWM installed it is probable that I cannot acces FTM mode. ANyway I couldn't find a way to remove CWM without making a full wipe and return to stock ROM...
