Guest imi2003 Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Just a thought, since this is a intel based tablet, and the fact that there are quite a few bay trail windows tablets on the market. Some of these windows tablets have access to the uefi bios. The asus transformer T100, which has very similar hardware apparently just boots from usb like a normal pc. Would it just be case of just putting a live linux sd card in the sd slot and hooking a keyboard to the usb port and pressing F11? or is that wishful thinking.
Guest thefunkygibbon Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 fraid not. :( if only it was this simple. seems that this device has been crippled in such a way that they really don't want people messing with it (ie the non-standard fastboot)
