Blinkbox HD on Chromecast

Any clues if it's possible to rent HD movies from Blinkbox on the Hudl 2 when it's using Chromecast? All that seems to be available is standard def. The Hudl 2 is certainly able to handle streaming HD - has no problem doing that from Play Movies. Seems an odd restriction.

According to http://support.blinkbox.com:

 

1. Chromecast is fully supported

 

2. Full HD and surround are not supported. Only 720p and stereo sound - which given that the Hudl2 is a 1080p screen with support for Dolby 5.1 is a bit mismatched.
