Chainfire's LiveBoot, on Boot [root]. Could interest some people.

I'm not rooted, but this is evidently compatible for the HUDL2 [edit]according to Google play, but may not actually work on all devices[/edit]

 

It's a LogCat of the boot process, displayed on screen, a la old BIOS/bootup screen if you're old enough to remember.
