Guest ~Rob Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 I've googled and looked through the forum with no other reports of this issue, so let's see if I'm the first to find this. When I put my Hudl into standby there are horizontal (with the device landscape) lines which flash up before the screen turns off fully. They flash up too quickly to count but I'd say there's 8. They appear again when I turn it on, but there are more of them. To me it looks like an issue with the graphics or LCD, but it might be software related I guess. Has anybody else seen this?
Guest Jabbitt Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 I've had this and so has my father's Hudl2. A complete reboot solves the issue in my experience.
Guest ~Rob Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 That fixed it! Is it a reoccurring problem? Many thanks!
Guest Desolutional Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 It happens when you change the default homescreen loader, it bugs out the Intel HD GPU 2D render power save mode; a reboot fixes it by flushing the buffer space completely and resetting the power save profile.
