Downgrade to GB from ICS

Hi,

 

I am new with ROM flashing. I want to downgrade my G300 from ICS to Gingerbread. I have read most of tutorials on this forum but still need guidance.

 

So, what have I done so far:

1)Upgraded(no root method) from Gingerbread to ICS following this tutorial 

2)Followed tutorial(steps 1-6) http://huaweig300.com/huawei-g300-install-a-custom-jelly-bean-ics-rom-from-scratch/

3)Installed AndroidTerminal and checked which memory I have(Samsung)

 

If understood correctly I need to install GB baseband (B895), GB bootloader and CWM5 recovery from link http://www.modaco.com/topic/361310-downgrade-upgrade-from-recovery/ but don't know how to do that because there is no guidance, please help ?

You have to put that file (downgrade to GB) in SD card, then go to recovery by turning the phone off and then hold the power button and volume up simultaneously (you have to wait a few seconds) to get in recovery . Now in the recovery go to install zip from SD card and choose the file to downgrade and install it. After the installation you will need a GB ROM. You should try GBXTREME. I have it and I thing that's a very good rom. Where is the rom thread http://www.modaco.com/index.php?/topic/353860-Help!-I'm-new-and-I-can't-do...#entry1946567 to install it follow the instructions in that thread. I am new too at this but I think that's what you should do.

Thanks for the info it was very useful. One more thing, I have successfully installed GB baseband (B895), GB bootloader and CWM5 recovery from link . Now I need to install ROM but am confused which ROM to choose between B1 and B2 on this link.

I installed B2 and everything works very smooth :). I didn't have time to test all important funcionalities but for first look it's very-very good :).
