Concur.

Tesco screen protector absolutely shite all over the sensitivity of mine. I told that same thing to the girl on the till i brought it back to.

She wrote the exact words down as the fault.

Yissss

The glass itself is pretty damn strong for a tablet, and resistant to scratching, so there's no real point in buying a shite screen protector.

My youngest girl is nicknamed "honey badger" for good reason.

She cares not about it being strong. She will destroy it.

I don't have any problems with the sensitivity and I have a Tesco screen protector on it. I'm pretty sure I used to have problems but I don't any more (or the missed touches are infrequent enough that I've not taken notice).

Get her a ThinkPad 760 - you need a bulldozer to break those. Then again, windows 95... maybe not suitable. :-)

Hi, I've just had the OTA update and do hope the screen sensitivity is improved somewhat. I tried the Tesco own-brand screen protectors and had to take it off as the screen became too unresponsive....returned them and got my money back. Tried a different brand from Amazon (ORZLY) and whilst they fitted fine, and went on bubble free, they had the same effect so back off they've come.

The reason I wanted screen protectors was because there is a mark on my screen where you constantly unlock using the padlock icon (no screen-lock). The mark looks like a greasy fingerprint, but it never entirely comes off, like my finger gravy has marked the finish on the HUDL screen. Hey-ho. I will try another screen protector and see what gives :)

I am finding the screen a little more sensitive after the update.  I also gave up with the Tesco screen protector,  been using the Techgear ones (off Amazon) and they have been great.

Thanks :)  If all else fails, I might try these out

Put another of the ORZLY screen protectors on and still the screen becomes largely unresponsive. So no great sensitivity changes for me following the OTA udpate. Oddly, if I get no response from the screen, if I then change the orientation of the HUDL2 to portait, it will often respond for a bit.....but it is fine without the screen protector in it.

I am also using a Techgear screen protector and have no issues whatsoever, so would recommend.

I found something useful today while playing around in the developer settings.

You can turn on a setting to show a trace of screen touches. Maybe this will help see if sensitivity is better or worse and evaluate the screen protectors

See screenshot for setting. Enter dev mode in hudl settings by going to about tablet then repeatedly tapping on the build number
