White line when putting into standby

Hi, just wondering if my hudl 2 is faulty or if this is normal. Im happy with my hull expect for when I put it into standby after pushing the power button a bright line goes in the middle and it is annoying, using the default home screen not a different one.  Wanted to check if anyone else has this or if it is faulty? Thank you

This is the default animation for turning the screen off. It's supposed to look like what happened when you turned off an old fashioned CRT television. Is that what you mean?
