Guest Simon O Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 Huawei have announced two new Talkbands at Mobile World Congress, the B2 and N1.Talkband B2The Talkband B2 is your usual watch-type band with an innovative one-size-fits-all hinged connector which means it'll be a comfortable fit no matter how big or small your wrist is.Included is a 6-axis motion sensor and gyroscope arrangement to provide accurate recording of your activities and clever software algorithms allow the device to know exactly which type of activity you are doing which should help to make your Lifelog stats a lot more accurate. The Talkband B2 also makes use of support for Jawbone UP allowing wearers to sync data with the Jawbone application - something we will see in future Huawei devices too thanks to a partnership with Jawbone.Talkband also provides a 'Find my phone' function and can work as a bluetooth headset with dual microphone sound supression.Huawei expect the device to retail for 169 Euro for the standard device and 199 Euro for a premium version of the device that comes with leather straps.Talkband N1The Talkband N1 is a little bit different from most other devices on the marker as it's a headphone style device. Offering the wearer the usual features expected in an activity tracker it also provides full voice feedback to provide the wearer with immediate access to information without the need for a screen. Quite an innovative feature I think. The N1 will also have IP54 water and dust protection so you can quite happily use outdoors no matter what the weather is like.Huawei expect the device to retail for around 119 Euro and available towards the end of May.
