Guest James Norton Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 This comparison was not done under ideal circumstances and so should be viewed with a little scepticism. We also do not know if the Samsung software is final yet. The low light shots were taken by pointing the phone camera into a darkened box. I then took a photo of a very alluring looking Paul! Finally, we mounted the phones on a shaking box to see the effect of the OIS, hence the wobble shot with the phones wobbling a fair bit. Click on any image to view it full size. Guest Simon O Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 I never thought I'd say this but I think the Samsung photos are better. The low light seems to capture a lot more detail.
Guest Rocky7 Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 Can't put my finger on it but there is something horrific about S6 Good Light & Iphone 6+ Good light shots
Guest awarner Posted March 5, 2015 Report Posted March 5, 2015 Bit of a mixed results, should have compared it with a Lumia but then there would be no competition ;-) Also should have had a warning about the images not good to scare people like that :-p
Guest Sere83 Posted March 11, 2015 Report Posted March 11, 2015 Yeah just from this brief comparison, i'm thinking samsung may have actually owned this, combined with the OIS tests, can't wait for an in depth. Would be great to see sammy truly burn the iphone .
