acer s500 + 2GB ram need help

hello. Just for testing purpose i have changed internal ram with 2gb one from a dead xperia z,but sistem still show 1gb.must patch kernel or ?...need some experts advice

if i recall the default text in system / about phone shows a default value from build.prop

 

 

can you tell us how you changed the ram ?

as i maybe think maybe system need patch i dunno for sure how its done
