HUDL 2 Screen water ingress

So it seems "someone" in my household decided to clean my HUDL 2 with a damn cloth. Well seems liquid has gotten into the LCD panel and It can see it nastily at the back of the screen and of course the display is random mess.. I presume that I can not just purchase a replacement screen.. Hours of searching yields nothing and i've little hope the screen will magically sort itself out.. Any suggestions?

Don't give up hope yet. Have you tried gentle methods to dry it out, like leaving in a box of uncooked rice? You have to be patient and give it a day or so.
